Feeling sad with christmas coming

Hi I dont know if I can post this but every christmas is a bonus with my step dad as he has terminal colon cancer given 2 years but this is year 3 no we are on borrowed time and I'm just sad and angry at the same time just want a happy break but know we will not get it he is 81 and refused treatment and operation I just dont understand why and will never know my doctor said if he had the operation he would make it it's really affecting my mental health as I'm sad all the time there iv bared my mental health trigger at the moment

I am sorry to hear about your step dad. It must be frustrating and upsetting to see that your stepdad refusing treatment. Have you told him how you feel? also if he was to change his mind and have surgery will he still have a chance?

I have not told him as difficult to speak to him and even if we got a break though with him would be too late I'm just so sad even writing this
