I have the ideal job for an extrovert then as most of my day involves answering calls ! and I much prefer talking on the phone than email text etc with my friends relatives or having to talk to a doctor etc

Really ? I thought as long as they do not have to meet people in person, introverts are comfortable talking to them. Typing is one method of doing it, with an unknown user name and an avatar downloaded from the internet. Phone calls too is ok, I thought. No ?

I hate phone calls because I find it so tricky to articulate what I'm trying to get across without being in front of someone. The fact you can't see someone and it can sometimes be tricky to convey tone of voice and everything, it's just not nice.

I try and avoid phone calls as much as possible, I've always struggled being on the phone.

I personally have no problem with phone calls, even though I can be quite introverted at times.

If I'm not sure about what to say, I normally write out some pointers first in case I get stuck.

I hate calling and talking to people on the phone that but I have to do it due to my job, so I slowly get used to it. Don't get me wrong I don't mind talking to people that I know and like, but strangers is another thing.

I have had phone calls phobia maybe for 10 years now, more stressful are incoming calls...but sometimes I have issues also making outcoming calls. I become nervous, my heart rate increases, start to sweat, can't calm down for some period afterward. This is awful!!! But I can't say I am an introvert, maybe 20% of it.

Normally introverts doesn't like talking on phone, or via video coverage. They're always shy of themselves, love indoor life than anything. Such lifestyle is just detestable one which makes you staying away from people and prevents one from speaking boldly about him or herself.

Most introverts also have a social anxiety disorder, therefore, they find it hard to socialize with people. That's why they don't like taking over the phone or taking video calls.
