Question Claiming pip for mental health

Hi @Thought-full
Are you with the mental health team? such as Psychiatrists etc? If so then I would gather as much info from them as possible or even your GP.

Usually if you see either the above then PIP will contact them and ask for the information, but to answer your question yes you can get PIP for mental health.

Yes I am I've rang then today and asked them to hand over information to them once they get into contact...and getting a care coordinator Friday so will ask them to help me with it

Then that will help you a lot. Have you called PIP for a form?

You might find this helps too.

Im in the process of claiming. Be prepared to fight for entitlement if you need too.

Things seem a little more lenient at the moment with covid.

Good luck!
